Sushant Singh Rajput was born in Patna, Bihar, India. His ancestral village is Maldiha in Bihar's Purnia district. He regularly returns to Maldiha to celebrate Chhath puja. Sushant has three elder sisters and a brother, with him being the youngest in the family. One sister lives in the US, another sisters in Chandigarh and Delhi, and his brother is in Ramjas college in Delhi. One of his sisters, Mitu Singh, is a state-level cricketer. While growing up in Patna, Sushant was very close to his mother and had a more formal relationship with his father.Her death in 2002 left Sushant devastated. This happened just after Sushant had his 12th standard exams and it was in the same year that the family moved from Patna to Delhi. Sushant attended St. Karen's High School in Patna He secured 7th rank in All India Engineering Entrance Exam and secured admission in the Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical engineering) degree in the Delhi College Of Engineering (DCE) (now known as the Delhi Technological University). He was also a National Olympiad Winner in Physics. In all, he cleared as many as eleven engineering entrance exams, including for the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. However, he completed only three years in the college in the four-year course before dropping out to pursue an acting career.
Vinod Dham was born in 1950. His father was a member of the army civilian department who had moved from Rawalpindi, Punjab to India during the Partition of India. Dham obtained a BE degree in Electrical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering (now Delhi Technological University) in 1971 at the age of 21. He has three brothers and a sister. At the age of 25, he left his family in New Delhi to study a Masters degree in EE the U.S.,arriving with just $8 in his pocket. He is married to Sadhana and has two sons. Vinod Dham( Gurmukhi is an Engineer,Entrepreneur and Venture Capitalist.He is popularly known as Pentium Engineer for his contribution to the development of the highly successful Pentium processor of Intel Co. He is a mentor, advisor and sits on the Boards of many Companies, including promising startups funded through his India based fund Indo-US Venture Partners, where he is the founding Managing Director.
