Educational Qualification - Candidates should have completed 10+2 (intermediate) or its equivalent exam from a recognized board/university. They must have obtained minimum 50% marks in the qualifying exam. Reserved category candidates should have secured 45% in case of engineering courses and 40% in case of medical courses. Candidates should have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects in the qualifying exam for engineering courses. In case of medical courses, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English should be there in the syllabus at qualifying exam. Nationality - An Indian citizen can apply for Assam CEE 2018. Candidates holding domicile certificate of Assam will be eligible. Children of Officers belonging All India Services who are posted in Assam will also be eligible. Age Criteria - As on 31st December, 2018, candidate’s age should not be less than 17 years and should not exceed 24 years. There will be relaxation of 3 years to the candidates belonging to reserved category.
Exam Duration - The duration of the exam will be 2.00 hours. Question type - Paper will consist of multiple choice questions. Subjects - Syllabus of the paper will include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Number of Questions - Total 100 questions will be there in the exam. Marking Scheme - For every correct response, 1 mark will be awarded. There will be no negative marking.
