Eligibility Criteria

Candidates those who have completed their ICSE or HSE education as qualifying education will be considered as eligible in terms of undertaking RPMT 2018 Test Candidates from general category will have to secure and come up with 50% of aggregate marks in terms of undertaking this test Candidates from Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes will also be considered as eligible but they must secure 40% of aggregate marks in HSC Examination or Senior Secondary Examination Candidates must have studied several subjects such as English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and they are considered as compulsory subjects Candidates from general category might be physically challenged and they are given 5% of marks concessions in their HSC Examination Candidates those who come from scheduled category those who might be physically challenged will also be considered as eligible and they are able to avail 10% of marks concessions in their qualifyingeducation or HSC Examination

Exam Pattern

The candidates appearing for the RPMT examination must aware about the examination pattern that includes the type of question, total number of questions and marking scheme. It is necessary for the candidates to know about the examination pattern for the better preparation. RPMT 2016 examination pattern is given below: The paper of RPMT will consist of 200 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Zoology subjects. There will be 50 questions from each subject.

Selection Procedure


The merit list will be prepared for the qualified candidates and the admission will be granted on the basis of the candidate?s rank in the examination. 85% of seats is allotted for the Rajasthan domicile holder candidates and 15% of seats are reserved for the candidates applying through AIPMT examination. As it is already announced that in the year 2017, RPMT examination will not be organized so the admission to the colleges of Rajasthan will be done on the basis of the candidate?s rank in AIPMT 2017 examination. For the qualified candidates, the counselling will be organized for the distribution of seats.
