The candidates who are going to appear in the examination are required to possess 10+2 standard with Physics and mathematics as main subjects. Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology must be optional subjects. Candidates must be having at least 45% marks for General category. While the candidates belonging to reserved category are required to possess 40% marks. There is no criterion of age limit in the examination.
The question paper will only be in the English language. There will be questions from PCM and biology. There will be 50 questions each from PCM. Duration of exam will be of 3 hours i.e. 180 minutes. Total 150 multiple choice questions will ask. The examination will be of 600 marks. 4 marks will award for correct answers. There will be no provision of negative marking.
You will be selected on the basis of your performance in UPSEE Examination followed by counselling in which you can opt of the college of choice from a list provided. During the counselling sessions, you have to carry your original certificates. You will be checked and authenticated and the you would be allowed to select the college according the marks in their score card.
